Monil develops virtual fencing and animal health monitoring tools that make farmers’ everyday operations simpler and more sustainable. The company is experiencing strong international growth, with revenue expected to increase fivefold in 2025 following a recent capital raise to support further expansion. After significant growth in Norway and the UK, we are now expanding into the US and Sweden. To support this journey, we are now looking for an IT Manager who will play a key role in building and scaling Monil’s internal IT platform to support continued international growth.
This is a broad and hands-on role with significant impact. You will own and further develop the company’s internal IT environment, security, systems landscape, and technical workplace infrastructure. The role combines day-to-day operations with continuous improvement, automation, and scaling of internal processes and systems.
You will work closely with the entire organization and help ensure Monil builds an efficient technology platform that supports continued international expansion.
The position is based at our offices in Lysaker and reports to the CFO.
Key responsibilities will include:
Own and further develop Monil’s internal IT environment
Manage and develop Google Workspace, ERP (Odoo), and other relevant systems, including identity and access management
Ensure stable operation of endpoints, networks, and collaboration tools
Drive IT security, compliance, and risk mitigation initiatives
Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation
Manage system onboarding/offboarding and user administration
Coordinate with external vendors and IT partners
Contribute to procurement, license management, and cost control
Support the organization with technical improvement initiatives and automation
We believe you have:
More than 5 years of relevant experience in IT operations and development, preferably from a scale-up or technology company
Solid understanding of IT security and compliance
Experience with endpoint management and device lifecycle management
Experience with automation and scripting

Self-driven with strong execution capabilities from start to finish
Structured in your approach and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Service-minded, with strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
